FAQ

Can I talk to you or see you before I book a session?

Yes. Contact me either by phone, e–mail or text to arrange a free 20 minute talk which we can either do by phone or Skype or face–to–face. I believe it is really important to make sure that you feel comfortable with the practitioner you have chosen to help you move forwards.

How do I book a session?

Send me an e–mail, text or phone me (leave a message on my answerphone if I am not able to take your call) leaving your name and contact details and I’ll get back to you.

How many sessions will I need?

This varies according to all sorts of things! Most people notice significant shift after a few sessions. Sometimes only one session is needed; sometimes a more long term approach is beneficial. You are an individual, and what you need will be different from the next person. I can usually give you some idea after an initial conversation or e–mail exchange with you.

What do I do if I need to cancel a session?

If you need to cancel a session which is more than 24 hours away you can e–mail me or leave a message on my answerphone and there is no cancellation fee. If you cancel a session within 24 hrs of the appointment, then you are liable to pay half the session fee. If you have arranged an appointment as part of a package, and fail to ring or turn up for a session, then the time will be deducted from your package.

How long does a session last?

A session lasts one hour, though allow up to one and a half hours for a first appointment.

Will I lose control?

This is a common concern…and the answer is no! You will always be in control of the changes that you make.

Do you work with children and young people?

Yes. I am CRB checked, a qualified teacher and welcome children. Under 16s need to be accompanied by an adult. I currently work regularly with teenagers to help them with learning, social and other issues.

What if I have learning difficulties?

Can you help me lose weight?

I am happy to work with people who want to develop a healthy relationship with food, their bodies and themselves. My philosophy around this subject is largely in line with the HAES approach (Healthy Eating at Every Size — Linda Bacon).

Can you help me stop smoking?

Hypnotherapy has a good track record in helping people become non–smokers, and I have worked with clients to help them achieve this. If you are really fed up smoking, then you are in a good place to use hypnotherapy to help you make that change.

What other issues do you work with?

I have worked with clients with IBS, anxiety, depression, panic attacks, fibromyalgia, ME/CFS, pain disorders, OCD, anger issues, insomnia, POTS, food intolerances, phobias.

Are you happy working with LGBT people?

Is there parking?

You can park on the road outside the building where I work.

Are you wheelchair accessible?
