What is hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a method of helping you get into a very relaxed and calm state.
Why use hypnotherapy?
Once you are in this state you can access your subconscious mind, which is the part of us that runs automatically. It is then possible to tap into our huge ability to create change in our lives. Combining hypnotherapy and NLP provides a very potent and effective tool for change.
What is NLP?
Neuro-Linguistic Programming was developed in the 1980s and is a method of achieving change, especially in persistent unwanted behaviour, quickly, using language patterns to tap into the potential for change.
What does it feel like?
People experience hypnotherapy in different ways, but generally it feels like the state you are in when you are just about to drop off to sleep. You are fully aware... but very relaxed.
Will I lose control?
You are in control of what is happening….all I do is help you to do the things you have wanted to be able to do for a long time easily and quickly.
What is it used for?
Clients have resolved a wide range of issues during individual hypnotherapy sessions, including:
- anxiety,
- depression,
- low self-esteem,
- back pain,
- letting go of the past,
- relationship issues,
- smoking,
- preparing for surgery,
- OCD,
- emotional trauma,
- exam stress,
- lack of confidence
- ...I could go on!
How long does it take?
Each session lasts 1 hr, but allow up to 1 ½ hrs for the first session. Usually most clients make the changes they want in 2-5 sessions.
How much does it cost?
Each session costs £50. Children under 18, students and those on Income Support pay £35.
